Why? Because you might have to pay a little bit to get premium support for a top-rated, award winning Joomla! extension?

I'm sure you'd be more than happy to charge your clients to install and support it.

I sure understand it, and the price isn't too high.
But... what about contributors like translators.
We provided language files for some time now and would sure like to continue, but it would be just a bit too much for a non profit community to start buying subscription just to translate. Would it be an idea to provide at least an example en-GB language package so we can continue providing translations also for the plugins that needs subscription?

I'd be more than happy to provide a free subscription to a regular, dedicated translator.

Sorry, but this is really annoying.

I dont mind purchasing your product, but I do mind being charged to access a forum to resolve a problem.

By denying people access to support you are essentially forcing me to pay to access the solution.

It is not the payment I have an issue with, but the method you have chosen to implement.

Access to the Subscriber Forum does not come at an additional cost. As a member, one of the benefits is access to those forums. Support is still offered via the General Discussion forum but priority is always given to the Subscriber Forums.

In order to help further development of the best editor for joomla i think that the small fee (even those days of economical crisis) realy worth it!

    Keep up the Good Work!!

The forums aren't being closed to non-subscribers. The Subscriber only forum is being made available to subscribers only. What is the big issue and why would anyone complain? If someone isn't a subscriber they have no need to have access to the subscriber only forum. No one is stopping anyone from posting their issues on the General Forum.

Keep up the good work on the BEST editor for Joomla! Thank you for all of your hard work. :)

I'm sorry, but I have to wholeheartedly support Admin and the whole JCE crew on this one.

I know they've been trying to work out a viable business model for some time and even though the product is of good enough build quality that I've only actually NEEDED support once or twice, I'd still go ahead and pay for a subscription regardless.

The product is first-class and the subscription is more than reasonable.

I too see absolutely no cause for complaint.

I just downloaded JCE after checking its reputation. It seemed very good but after install have an Editor that doesnt allow paste (from anything). When I search for an answer to this on the forum I am informed that I have to pay to see posts on this issue. This is pretty poor really. Any ideas how I can resolve this?
