'Elastic' height on MediaBox popup?

Hi,

I'm using MediaBox for multiple pop ups on a project I'm working on and there's one thing I cant' manage to do. The client requires that there is no scrollbar and that the height of the popup stretches to accommodate the content.

I have managed to get rid of the scrollbar (which was still showing even when there was nowhere to scroll) but the height remains the same regardless of the length of content and I need it to stretch down the page. None of the settings in the plug in seem to affect this and though I can change the height etc. using CSS, it doesn't make it 'elastic'.

Any advice would be much appreciated, the site needs to be live as soon as possible so it's somewhat urgent.

It is currently not possible to have an "elastic" height for content popups, either a height must be set for each popup, or if no height is set (just a width or no dimensions at all) the popup will scale to fit the height of the window.

When I give a height to the popup, the popup wont be at the top of the page.

It will appear at the bottom of the site. When I leave the height blank, the popup will take the height of the content (in this case a PDF file).

What is wrong?

The layer will be shown but the modal window will be out of the viewport at the bottom of it.

I think this may have something to do with the template you are using, but I'm not 100% sure.

Do you get the same issue with a different template?

I just used it on this site so I have no Idea

The template is just a three column/header/footer. So quite common.

Is there a way where I can use a little trick to get the lightbox on top of the page when the container has a fixed height?

I've had this post open for a few days trying to figure out what the problem with the popup is, unfortunately I see you have deleted the article in the link you posted earlier.

Can you restore the link?
