The long awaited and often promised JCE Editor Plugin 1.5.3 is here and includes a number of important bug fixes as well as a few new features.

One of the higlights of this release is the much improved Paste cleanup functionality with automatic Word content detection and cleanup. This has been integrated into the standard Paste button so the Paste From Word and Paste as Plain Text buttons are now optional and can be moved out of the layout if desired. All credit for this goes to the team at Moxiecode who continue their excellent work making TinyMCE the best javascript WYSIWYG editor available.

Further attempts have been made at improving the Menu support in the AdvLink browser. Please test and comment.

A number of fixes have been applied to the Media plugin, PageBreak and ReadMore (Articles) plugin and a new TabFocus plugin has been added which allows tab into and out of the editor using TAB and Shift+TAB.

This release also includes the latest TinyMCE 3.2.4.1 with improved support for Safari 4 beta and IE8.

The entire core project has also been moved to Joomlacode and is available via SVN at http://joomlacode.org/svn/jce/

The latest packages of the Editor Plugin (plg_jce_153.zip) and Admin Component (com_jce_156.zip) are also available on JoomlaCode.

There is a problem with showing: "* first text * second text" or "1 first text 2 second text" it's minds and tag on align="left" in right and center is okey

I am a subscriber. But my JCE editor does not have a capability for me to attach Flash Video as I understand it is one of the incentives for subscribers like. Please assist me in this urgent matter. Thanks.

You need to download and install the Media Manager plugin! http://www.joomlacontenteditor.net/downloads/plugins/jce15x/subscription

Hi. is this version can't use default page-break button? (under the editor) I clicked it, but not insert page-break. use JCE page-break button, it is worked.

JCE 1.5.4 installed with BreezingForms 1.6.5 build 723 has a problem when JCE is loaded in an iFrame. JCE removes the text from the editor in IE 7 and IE 8. Firefox, Safari, and Google Chrome don't encounter the same issue.

You've listed on jooml;as that this extensionb is non-commercial and it says "Includes advanced Image/Media, File and Link handling, plugin support, and an Administration interface for editor configuration." and now that I've downloaded the whole thing you asks for a subscription payment to download certain plugins, it's listed as a 'non-commercial' extension, and I've installed all the parts except the media manager and to get it you wants a payment of 30.00 I don't want a subscription, I just wanted all the JCE parts promised at joomla.com
