JCE 2.0.0 beta8 released

Continuing our steady journey towards JCE 2.0 Stable, we are pleased to announce the release of beta8.

Thank you for your patience and support during this development phase, and to everyone who has submitted bug reports and helped in tracking down and eliminating problems.

This will be the last beta release. The next release will be JCE 2.0.0 Stable with updates to follow as frequent point releases, ie: 2.0.1, 2.0.2 etc.

• Fixed : Link Browser not showing all categories
• Fixed : Popup dialogs not working in com_categories or components not in the components / extensions table
• Fixed : MediaBox Popup creation uses bad JSON syntax. Reverted to original key[value] pairs
• Fixed : Editor not loading due to some Profile check issues

• Added : Toolbar Layout options
• Added : Toggle Editor options

The update is available from the JCE Updates dialog in the JCE Control Panel (you should see a notification when accessing the Control Panel) or from the download link below.

An alternate tar version is being provided as this may help installation in some cases where a "Cannot find Joomla XML setup file" error is shown, wihch may be caused by a file limit imposed by the server on zip extraction.
