The Features tab includes the Editor Layout where the the editor buttons can be selected and re-organized and the Additional Features section where options for Context Menu, File Browser, Inline Popups and Media Support can be selected.

Editor Layout

  1. Current Editor Layout - Display all the buttons currently in use by the editor. These buttons can be re-organised by dragging them into adjacent rows. Buttons can be removed from the layout by dragging them into the Available Buttons area. Entire rows can als be dragged using the handles on the right-hand side of the layout.
  2. Available Buttons - This layout holds buttons not yet assigned to the editor. Buttons in this section will not show in the editor toolbar. Buttons and rows can be dragged from this area into the Current Editor Layout.
  3. Button Legend - Click this button to display a button legend - button icon and title.

The current width of the editor, as set in the Editor Parameters Tab, is displayed under each layout and is adjusted when the value in the Widthparameter changes. As the editor buttons do not wrap they must fit within this width. The grey background of each row is also adjusted as a visual aid when organising buttons when the width is reduced

Additional Features

Select additional features for the editor

  1. Context Menu - Check to add a right-click context menu to the editor with useful buttons and commands.
  2. File Browser - Check to add a File Browser button to the AdvLink, Table, and Styles dialogs.
  3. Inline Popups - All dialogs are open in an inline popup. Useful when using a browser popup blocker.
  4. Media Support - Check to allow support for OBJECT, PARAM and EMBED elements. Required by the JCE Media Manager plugin and when inserting Flash, Quicktime, Youtube etc.
