JCE Plugins - New / Edit Plugin

Toolbar:

  plugins_edit_toolbar.gif

Save: Click Save to save any changes made during the current editing session, and return to the JCE Plugins screen.

Close: Click Close at any point to end the current editing session and return to the JCE Plugins screen. Any changes made since the session commenced will be lost.

Help: Click the Help icon at any time to view this Help Screen.

Details:

Name: The name of the Plugin.

Plugin: The actual plugin name. This is also the name of the plugins folder.

Type: Non-editable. Indicates that the item is a plugin. 

Icon: The name of the plugin icon. This icon is used as the plugins button in the editor layout.

Layout Icon: The name of the layout icon, usually the same as the Icon. Used by the Layout Editor to represent all the Plugin's icons where the plugin has numerous buttons eg: Table plugin, Caption plugin.

Access Level: Select the access level of this plugin.

Row: Indicates the row that this plugin is situated on.

Order: Indicates position of this plugin in the above row.

Published: Select No or Yes to set whether the Plugin is Published.

Elements: A comma seperated list of elements that this plugin uses that are not part of the JCE Editor's standard elements list. eg: img[src|title|alt].

Description: The description of the plugin. This is usually obtained from the plugin's XML file.

Parameters:

A list of configuration parameters associated with this plugin.
