This release fixes a number of bugs reported by users since the release of JCE Pro 2.8.2
In addition to these fixes, a few improvements have been made to existing features.
Direct Upload in the Media Field
A direct upload option has been added to the Media Field in the Images & Links tab, and other instances where the Joomla Media field is used. A file can now be directly uploaded using the upload button, or by dragging and dropping the file onto the field.
Template Framework Stylesheet Support
In an effort to produce a more accurate display of editor content, direct support for the Yootheme, Gantry (RocketTheme) and Wright (Joomlashack) CSS template frameworks has been added. Along with existing support for the standard template stylesheet selection, this will attempt to extract and import more relevant template stylehseet files for the editor to use for styling content, and to populate the Styles list with css class names.
JCE Pro 2.8 includes a number of great new features and enhancements and is available for download or to update via the Joomla Updater.
