  • To assign the button to the editor toolbar :

In the JCE Control Panel, click on the Editor Profiles button.
Click on the 'Default' profile (or any other profile you wish tto assign the button to)
    Click on the Features tab.
Drag the button from the Available Buttons area into the Current Editor Layout.

Both of these suggest some kind if javascript error, perhaps due to a conflict with some other extension.

Just because you're not paranoid doesn't mean everybody isn't out to get you.

Yes, indeed, something like that - thanks for your answer, Ryan.

I have re-installed the core of Joomla and now it works fine.

I would also want to make a suggestion : it would be great if it was possible to open a href link in a pop-up window. I wanted to open a link in an image that directs to a pop-up window (the "SiteLock" badge on my website). There is an option with the weblinks that allows to do it but, apparently, not in the editor.
