I just installed JCE Pro 2.7.13 and I cannot change the font color. I can select the text, but clicking on the color icon does nothing.

If you click directly on the Font Color icon, the default color - black - is applied, so this may not show a change in the selected text.

Clicking on the dropdown icon next to the button will display a list of colours to apply, which you can do by clicking on one of them.

That's how my old version worked. I know how to "do" it. The problem is, in the new version neither the text color nor highlighting have drop downs. It's like that part of the interface is dead.

Ryan
Which version did you upgrade from?

I don't remember... but it was years old and not "pro" (I think).

Because this was an update from quite an old non-Pro version of JCE, the easiest way to fix this was to delete and then restore the profiles, which I have done on your site.

You can make further adjustments to the toolbar layout in Editor Profiles -> Features & Layout, as required.
