Even if jce media box 2 is installed, the popup image is smaller than the normal image, on my smarthphone and even on my laptop...I would like the popup image to be full-size screen..

Yes. I confirm, the Beta3 Works.
JUST ONE MORE ISSUE:
The X in the bottom left (by default) is missing now and only shows a box both in the normal and popped up view.

Yes. I am using JHC Optimize to create the CDN delivery. I turned it off the icons re-appeared. However, note, that in previous versions of JCE this did not happen.

Since you made the change to web fonts you may want alert users of the pop up tool about this issue since CDNs are encouraged increased site performance.
I tested this in Chrome, Edge, FF, Opera, and Brave and it works perfectly.
