Hi Ryan,

Is there a possibility to modify installation package of JCE to add column plugin on the Default profile ?

Thanks !

Regards

Ryan
It is added by default on new installs, but remains an option that must be added when updating from JCE 2.7.x

Hi Ryan,

Yes I know, but is there a solution to add it when updating from JCE 2.7.x ?

I have something like 250 websites using JCE and I do not want to check them 1 by 1 to add this feature 😃

Thank you

Hi Ryan,

I've finally used https://www.joomlacontenteditor.net/support/forum/102096" target="_blank" rel="noopener">this thread to modify the installation package.
I've added the attached code in the following lines : https://github.com/widgetfactory/jce/blob/master/administrator/components/com_jce/install.pkg.php#L281-L348

Can't add php code even with code markup :/

This code adds columns plugin to the "Default" profile (with id = 1)

I've tested on my test site and it works well ! :)

Regards
