editing modules I get this message:
An error has occurred while fetching the JSON data: HTTP 404 status code. Not Found

(BTW I'm very new to this....i.e. not that technical)

Does this occur in the front-end when you click on the edit icon to edit a module?

Yes that's correct. I select 'Modules' from the 'Extensions' drop down menu and select a module to edit. The message appears immediately at the top of the screen
