Hi there,

Occasionally (and especially today and yesterday) my download code is stripped and replaced with instances of data-mce-href= and data-mce-src= .

The items appear correctly on the website but the downloads don't work.

Example:

<ul class="uk-list uk-list">
<ul class="uk-list uk-list">
<li><a onclick="return false;" href="https://www.joomlacontenteditor.net/images/homelearning-COVID/Year-2-Week-10.zip"> <img src="https://www.joomlacontenteditor.net/images/pdf-icon.svg" alt="pdflogo" width="63" height="44" />Home Learning Week 10 (w/c 06/07) - Maths Questions and Answers</a></li>
</ul>
</ul>
<hr />

becomes:

<ul class="uk-list uk-list"><ul class="uk-list uk-list"><li><a onclick="return false;" href="https://www.joomlacontenteditor.net/images/homelearning-COVID/Year-2-Week-10.zip" data-mce-href="https://www.joomlacontenteditor.net/images/homelearning-COVID/Year-2-Week-10.zip" data-mce-onclick="return false;"> <img src="https://www.joomlacontenteditor.net/images/pdf-icon.svg" alt="pdflogo" width="63" height="44" data-mce-src="https://www.joomlacontenteditor.net/images/pdf-icon.svg" />Home Learning Week 10 (w/c 06/07) - Maths Questions and Answers</a></li></ul></ul><hr /

I'm using Widgetkit in a Joomla 3.9.19 site, but the same thing also happens in articles.

This happened twice a couple of years ago and now it's happening again, on more than one site.

Can you please help?

Many thanks,
Mark.

Just because you're not paranoid doesn't mean everybody isn't out to get you.

Thanks Ryan but when I click the download button I get this error:

Is it just me?

Thanks Ryan, that seems to work. We've lost all the original code but these things happen 🙂
