I updated today to 2.9.0 and cannot edit. I inserted one character and tried to backspace another character, and the cursor freezes. To get out of the file, I have to leave it, which causes it to lock and requires check-in. Thanks for your help.

I just want to say that JCE is fantastic, I love this extension, been paying for many years, it is fantastic.

I have sadly and reluctantly, had to disable 2.9 and move to TinyMCE temporarily. This is because JCE 2.9 prevented editing, had loads of customers complaining. Tried to contact JCE discretely to give them the nod, but the only way was via this public forum which I only just plucked up the courage to do.

Fingers crossed for a fix at some point. Anyone still stuck you can go to Global Settings in Joomla and change the editor, this is an instant fix while JCE is being looked at. I hope its back soon.
