Is it possible to set different folders for images and files? If I change the directories in the back end it changes both images and files.

Thanks 🙂

Ok I figured it out:
In the plugin parameters of the profile being used I have changed file path to files and image path to images. I've left the default joomla path accessed from options in the media manager to images.

All works via the JCE editor as wanted now, however if I try to load an image from the images in links area of articles it opens the files folder not images so I still need some help please.

Thanks

This can be set by the File Directory Path value in Editor Profiles -> Plugin Parameters -> File Browser.

Hi Ryan

Thanks for your response.

In that location, I have both images and image manager extended set to images, and the file browser set to files so I can keep files and images separate. It works everywhere except where adding the article image is, where it opens the files location not images.

The fields in the Images & Links tab of the Joomla Article Manager use th parameters from the File Browser in the JCE Editor Profiles, not those of the Image Manager or Image Manager Extended.
