Please post your question in the Forum and we will get back to you as soon as we can.
I've set the profile to user group Superusers and user to myself, set the text filter to none on superusers in global config, set iFrame to allowed in Media tab, and html cleanup is set to yes with an exception for iFrame. I am in code view, copy/paste the iFrame code (as from a Facebook video), hit Save. The code is still there so long as I don't Save & Exit, and then come back into the article in html view. If I come back in using code view, the iFrame code is still there. But I don't have a way to make sure code view was the last way I viewed an article.
To reiterate:
1. Place iFrame code in code view, Save, switch to html view, the iFrame code is gone.
2. Place iFrame code in code view, Save & Exit. Edit another article, having left it in html view. Open iFrame article, and now it opens in html view, and the iFrame code is gone in code view.
What else is there? Thanks for any support you can give.

There is no need to add any exception anywhere, if the Allow IFrames option is set in Media Support (also, what option have you selected for this?)
Just because you're not paranoid doesn't mean everybody isn't out to get you.

This issue may have been caused by the ordering of your profiles. Assuming you are using the "Developer" profile, which has iframes enabled, your "Default" profile, which does not allow iframes, was at the top of the profile list, which means it was being used for editing for Super Users instead of the "Developer" profile.
I have re-ordered the profiles, so that "Developer" is above "Default".
Please confirm if this fixes the issue.

iframe stopped working for me too (except YouTube)
Please explain. Are the iframes being removed when you save, or their content is not displaying in the front-end?
backend. I insert the iframe in the "code" tab, switch to the "editor" tab, the iframe is removed.
1. insert iframe https://prnt.sc/x9ina1
2.click tab editor, iframe removed https://prnt.sc/x9ijwp
