Hello,
I have the JCE Pro and have configured that for our user group "editors".
However, the settings for the user do not work at all.
In the configuration, for example, is set that all elements such as DIV are removed when a text is inserted.
No! It does not.
In the configuration is set that the max upload may be 5000 KB, but in the editor of the user is 1024 KB.
Styles that come from the template and can be called via style are not taken over in the text.
The function in the editor, remove formatting does not work either...
and many other things that do not work.
Actually no setting was taken from the configuration.
Where am I doing something wrong?
Where is the error?
I can't show this with screenshots.
I have the latest version Joomla and JCE.

Do you have more than one editor profile enabled?
The profile with the most specific assignment, eg: assigned to a specific component, usergroup or user, must be orderd to be at the top of the list. See - https://www.joomlacontenteditor.net/support/documentation/profiles/profiles-ordering
Just because you're not paranoid doesn't mean everybody isn't out to get you.
