Hey guys, good day.

I am having the error when I select my image (after having uploading it from my pc):
A URL is required. Please select an image or enter a URL

Any help is appreciated.
May I add that this happens only with uploaded images, not images currently in the media which was uploaded via joomla media manager.

Thanks.

Ryan
Are you clicking on the name of the image to select it for insert? Doing so will fill the URL field with the image url, as required.

Just because you're not paranoid doesn't mean everybody isn't out to get you.

Yes correct. Selected the image and clicked insert. no joy. May I also add, drag and drop as well does not work. It just loads and loads.

Are you referring to drag&drop of an image into the editor window?

Hi Ryan,

I refer to theoriginal issue is that I cannot upload the image (normally) as it gives the error I specified. (I also notified you that drag and drog as well does not work which i just found out). Thanks.

I'm not seeing any issue uploading or inserting images on your site. Please post a screenshot or video of your process.

Hi Ryan,
Strange if you replicated the exact same steps I outlined.

See video from link below

thanks!

As I said in my previous post, you select an image for insert by clicking on it's name.

An image is not selected for insert after upload, or when you click the checkbox. This is to allow editing of images (delete, rename etc.) without actually selecting one for insert.

Ah yes, you are right. Serious oversight on my behalf. Works ok, which brings me to my second issue. Drag and drop also does not seem to work. Any ideas ?
Thanks.

What exactly do you mean by drag&drop? Into the editor window, or the upload dialog?

Editor window.
Thanks.

I'm not seeing any problem with this at the moment on your site, although I did get an error earlier. It could be related to a server timeout on the upload.
