I have never had this issue before but suddenly today i am unable to add the icon in the File Manager when adding a pdf or Word doc or anything?

Yep thats fixed it. This site wasnt showing me that it needed an update, i did look on the site but not on yours, sorry !!
Please upgrade to the latest version - https://www.joomlacontenteditor.net/downloads/editor/pro/latest
