Hi there,
for users in the frontend we need the possibilty to set a specific image folder (below the standard image folder) where the uploaded image will automatically saved. And the frontend user should have access only to this folder.
I made all the configurations described in https://www.joomlacontenteditor.net/support/tutorials/editor/setting-the-file-directory-path
This works fine for images which are selected in the content area of the editor directly but not for intro images or custom fields with media type.

Is there a way to restrict the directory also for intro images or custom fields? All JCE Plugins are activated. I attach some screenshots with the configurations.

Kind regards
Eva-Maria

It is not necessary to set the File Directory Path value for the Image Manager Extended if it is the same as the global value in the Filesystem tab, so you can remove the value.

Also, check that the File Directory Path value in the File Browser tab is also blank, so it too uses the global value (the File Browser is what the custom fields etc. uses, not the Image Manager Extended)
