Hi,

Attempting to update from JCE Pro 2.9.10 to 2.9.11. Joomla 4 does not seem to recognising JCE Editor Pro subscription key. I've copied and pasted directly from JCE website and it still doesn't recognise it. Unlike Joomla 3, where you could still try to install an update, Joomla 4 doesn't appear to give that option if the site key is "missing", so you have to install the update manually.

Not sure if this is a Joomla 4 or JCE issue.

You need to set this in a different place in Joomla 4.

Go to Extensions, and in the Update "block", click on Update Sites, then on JCE Editor Package. Paste the key into the Download Key field, and click Save.

In the next update this should be saved correctly when you do it via the JCE Admin options, as in Joomla 3.
