Hi,
I wanted to use the regex functionality of JCE to make a search/replace.
The goal is to change all the "link texts" of hyperlinks by some other text (in my example by "click here") :

<a href="/url1">link text</a>
<a href="/ur2l">another</a>
<a href="/url3">yet another</a>

On any regex tool the following would work :
replace

(\<a[^>]*>)(?<url_text>[^>]*)(<\/a>)

by

$1 here $3

But JCE does not take placeholders ($1, ...).

So how can I do in JCE for what I thought to be a "simple" remplacement?

Txs!

Marc

Please try JCE Pro 2.9.17 Beta - https://www.joomlacontenteditor.net/downloads/editor/pro/development

Clear your browser cache after install.

Just because you're not paranoid doesn't mean everybody isn't out to get you.
