I am experiencing difficulties installing JCE MediaBox - upgrade to 2.1.2
I have tried from the Joomla update and also downloaded the file etc
The message received is
Warning
JFolder: :delete: Path is not a folder. Path: /home3/asw1f7sc/public_html/pscv3/plugins/system/jcemediabox/addons
JFolder: :delete: Path is not a folder. Path: /home3/asw1f7sc/public_html/pscv3/plugins/system/jcemediabox/elements
Joomla\Filesystem\File::delete: Failed deleting index.html

and then
Error
Error installing plugin

I hope you can help
This is happening on more than one web site

Are you attempting to uninstall the old version of MediaBox befere installing 2.1.2? MediaBox does not remove the folders you listed when it is installed.

There appears to be a folder permissions issue with the existing (old) version of Mediabox you have installed.

Please use an FTP application to delete the plugins/system/jcemediabox folder, then install the new version of JCE MediaBox.
