I have a JCE template:

If I insert the template, highlight the text and insert a new text, I get the following result with the current version with Joomla 4 and Joomla 3:
<div class = "box"> new text </div>
In earlier JCE versions the p-tag was not deleted.
In addition, the drop-downs button in Joomla 4 are hidden in the profile configurations for styles, which is why you cannot make any settings.
