Updated to J!4.1.2 and moved from the RC of 21 to the stable...

And now back to scrambled/removed iframes, using the S3 library (plugin 2.2.7).

Com_content exception set, custom filter options set in Global Conf, iFrames allowed in single active profile for JCE. Same behavior with 22 Beta 1.

Point me in the right direction!

Thanks

It looks like RSFirewall is causing the issue here, as the iframe tag has been altered. I have set an exception in your RSFirewall configuration for com_zoo.

Just because you're not paranoid doesn't mean everybody isn't out to get you.

Are the iframes removed when you switch back and forth between the Code and Editor tabs, or only when saving?

Are the being "scrambled", ie: <iframe is replace with <i-frame ?

They scramble on the Edit/Code switch. though the scramble is a replacement of the backslash not the iframe tag.

The disappear completely on SAVE.

I'm not seeing an issue on your site with Youtube iframe code.

Please post an example of the code you are trying to embed (after pasting the code into your post, select it and click the code button in the toolbar next to the emoji)

Not using anything from YouTube.

As I said this is using the s3 plug in... via File Manager. We load .PDFs into an Iframe.

Scrambled code example

<iframe src="/https://docs.google.com/viewer?embedded=true&url=http%3A%2F%2Fogwlresources.s3.amazonaws.com%2FFiles%2F01_Homemade_Traps_and_Snares.pdf" width="640" height="480"></iframe>

Before switching to code.. the doc shows correctly in the editor.

Code scrambles on switching.. and then the entire iframe tag section disappears on save.

I've just tried this on your site (see S3 IFrame test article), inserting the file as an iframe to open with Google Docs using the File Manager.

When switching to the Code tab, the iframe code remains intact, and when saving, the code remains.

My mistake... I do all content in Zoo. 4.1.15.

Two items can be tested in the Resource app

Then the issue is caused by the Zoo app, not JCE, as this works fine in the Article Manager. Check if there is some content filtering that Zoo is doing on saving.

That seems to have corrected the disappearance on SAVE.. the code scramble is still an issue.

But no need for me to switch usually in this usage.

I have NEVER had an issue with JCE/ZOO combo as cause.
