Hello, this is the first time I ask for help.

by installing the latest version 2.9.22. Causes an error when trying to load an image when creating a new article from the frontend.

I went back to the previous version or any other and there is no problem, but if with version 2.9.22.

While they fix this bug in a new version, I installed an older version.
Thank you

Hi, I installed the latest version 2.9.22 on another test site and the result is the same, error in index.php when trying to add an image from the frontend in the tab "images and links". in the fields: "intro image" and "full article image".

I think it is a BUG of the version
I attach a temporary video of the test.
Greetings

I have the same problem. Installing 2.9.23 Beta produces an 0 Error: Invalid path

It seems that the upload button for the custom mediajce field is missing the base URI (it only shows the index.php part.).

When is this error generated? When you attempt to open the File Browser from the media field?

Yes the error is generated on the open of File Browser

Ryan
@amiras - Does this only happen in the front-end? Which template are you using?

In my case with Yootheme Pro now it's working with JCE Pro 2.9.23 RC

amiras
Yes only in front-end with the 2.9.22 version

Hello,
I have exactly same issue !
we are using latest version of Joomla Release 3.10.8 and JCE 2.9.22 PRO - the issue happens on various pages with different templates.

When we are creating or updating a Joomla article in frontend, there is tab picture and links.
When we try to insert a picture there is error: Server-IP-Adress index.php does not exist

Interestingly the underlying URL (example) is:

https://index.php/?option=com_jce&task= ... ro&folder=

but I would expect to see our domain name and not just index.php which obviously does not exist.

In the backend there is no issue accessing the folder of the pictures.
