- Custom Field Media JCE (Media Datei Browser) Frontend Drag&Drop File Upload
Hello
Joomla4 / JCE Editor Pro 2.9.22 (Yootheme Template)
I use Custom Fields (jcemedia) (Media File Browser)
In the backend I can simply drag and drop files into the field and upload them.
Unfortunately this does not work in the frontend editing.
You can drag the image file in, but nothing happens.
It only works via the "select" button in the image manager.
Is there a permission rule or something I have to configure?
best regards
adi

Please try JCE Pro 2.9.23 Beta - https://www.joomlacontenteditor.net/downloads/editor/pro/development
Just because you're not paranoid doesn't mean everybody isn't out to get you.
Unfortunately, it does not work with the beta version JCE Pro 2.9.23 Beta 3 either. I have enclosed an example video

The drag & drop upload option is only available for JCE Media Fields, and for some converted media fields. If the Upload icon is visible next to the button (as in your backend video), then drag & drop upload is also available.

Thanks for your fast Feedback!
The upload button doesn't work either, so I had hidden it via css. Now I have it displayed again. See new video.
The field is the JCE Media Field. See 1st video (backend video)
Video 2 Frontend

I'm not seeing the edit option on this page - https://www.juratoptour.ch/de/wertungslaeufe/roggen-berglauf

This is fixed on your site with an install of JCE Pro 2.9.23 Beta 4 - https://www.joomlacontenteditor.net/downloads/editor/pro/development
