I have a clean install of Joomla 4 with JCE and the editor background is red. I've turned off High Contrast Mode but it is still red.

Any advice?

I've turned off High Contrast Mode but it is still red.

High Contrast mode should be turned on, as this will force a white background with black text. See - https://www.joomlacontenteditor.net/support/faq/editor/editor-background-dark-or-editor-background-image
