Currently if I add the button Joomla Editor Buttons to the toolbar it only includes the built in Joomla buttons (Readmore, Module etc) in its drop down list and it kills the display of other buttons below the text area.

This seems to me like a bug.

Either the drop down list on the Joomla Editor Buttons needs to automatically includeall available editors-xtd buttons, or the buttons need to still display at the bottom of the text area.

For me the ideal solution would be if the Joomla Editor Buttons button included all the available buttons AND all of the button were still available below the text area - it would be useful to have them in both places to save having to scroll up or down if either the toolbar or the bottom buttons were currently outside the visible area.

At the very least the JCE Joomla Editor Buttons button should not kill the third party buttons.

(using JCE 2.9.22 on Joomla 3.10.9

Which buttons are not being displayed?

Some editor-xtd buttons might use their own methods to execute the button, using additional javascript loaded on the page. As these buttons don't use the "standard" method for execution, they can't be included in the list.
