Hello,

Recently I found out that the mediaJCE field we are working with for some time, is not working anymore, clicking on the "select" button initiates the modal but only shows a black screen. In the bottom left corner the closing cross is visible and works but the file browser doesn't open.

No error on our server or frontend console. We installed the latest version of JCE PRO (2.9.28) and we are running on PHP 7.4.28. Joomla 3.10.10
Field is added on the users component. (Extra field)

Hope you have enough information, otherwise we will provide this.

Thanks in advance,

Tom

This looks like some kind of css conflict. Please send me a login - https://www.joomlacontenteditor.net/contact/site-login

Just because you're not paranoid doesn't mean everybody isn't out to get you.

Hi Ryan,

Excuse me for my late answer, had a holiday week. I just filled in the form.

After you login please navigate on the top right to the "profile dropdown", choose "Account", click top right on "Bewerk Profiel".

After that you can scroll down and you will see a "Selecteren" button to choose a profile picture (Foto field). When clicking on that button you will see the same as my screenshot attached in the OP.

Hope to hear your answer! Thanks in advance!

This looks like a front-end javascript conflict, and I suspect it has something to do with your template.I am seeing some javascript errors generated when clicking the button, related to the Joomla modal script (used by the JCE Media Field), and not JCE in particular.
