Hi,

I'm trying to use the css file "user.css" of Cassiopeia in a site (it's the first time I try this).
I added the name as a custom stylesheet but then the style list in the editor is freezed. I can't open the list.
How to solve this?

Thanks in advance!

Where is the user.css file located?

Just because you're not paranoid doesn't mean everybody isn't out to get you.

The file is located in /media/templates/site/cassiopeia/css folder (Joomla! 4.2.2 or 4.2.3)

Ryan
In the Custom Stylesheet field, add the relative path to the file, eg:

media/templates/site/cassiopeia/css/user.css

Thanks Ryan, it works but I only get the content of this file. I would like to add its styles to the standard css file.
May I add each style in the "custom styles" section and need to create the same data in the user.css and here?
Thanks for your help.

Ryan
Set the path to this file in the Custom CSS Files field in Editor Profiles -> Editor Parameters -> Typogrpahy, and set the Editor Styles option to Add.

Thanks Ryan,

But with "cassiopeia" it didn't work. I needed to replace "cassiopeia" with "$template"
media/templates/site/$template/css/user.css

It's OK now

Hi Ryan,

I'm trying to do the same in a new site but the "styles" list remains empty.

I don't use a custom css file in the global configuration, but only add the custom css file as you explained above.

May I uninstall and reinstall JCE?

Thanks!

Ryan
Since JCE Pro 2.9.36 the user.css file in Cassiopeia templates is now loaded uatomatically, so you don't need to specify it in Editor Profiles -> Editor Parameters -> Typogrpahy

You can reset the Editor Styles option to Inherit.
