I have been able to install plg_system_jcemediabox_212 on the Joomla 3 instance of my site, but not on Joomla 4.2.5 : I get the following error message
JSON.parse: unexpected character at line 1 column 1 of the JSON data

What should I do ?

The server is running php 8.0 and I get the same error with MediaBox 2.1.3 RC :
JSON.parse: unexpected character at line 1 column 1 of the JSON data

Actually, I get this error for each JCE download, but the extensions work nevertheless, including JCE MediaBox which was not activated yet (I thought it was not downloaded because of the error message).

Is there a way to have JCE MediaBox popups on all pictures by default ?

I've not had another report of this, and I am unable to replicate it myself.

In Editor Profiles -> Plugin Parameters -> Image Manager Extended, in the Popups section, set the Default option to JCE MediaBox Popups.
