Hey there,

I use JCE pro and switch back between code and visual often. I have a few feature suggestions - please let me know if there's already a feature to do these things that I've missed.

Suggestions:
  • Code editor automatically return to last line (or roughly nearby) when switching from code, to visual, and back to code again
  • Ability to add images/media directly from the code view, so I don't have to switch to visual, add an image, then back to code
  • Ability to insert html/templates directly from code view

It mostly does this, although it is quite difficult to be accurate, as they are 2 completely different editors.

Ability to add images/media directly from the code view, so I don't have to switch to visual, add an image, then back to code
Ability to insert html/templates directly from code view


The second idea is most likely, as adding the first starts to get very complicated, as it may require specific and unique dialogs for the Code Editor for each action, and that is a lot of extra code to maintain!
