Ryan I trust you are enjoying your break. Have a quick question and hopefully not a dumb one for when you come back on deck! I have been sent some mobile phone images which upload in landscape etc. After an hour or so trawling Mr Google....a common problem it would appear however I am led to believe that my latest JCE Pro has a transform/facility to rotate an image in the editor. Have not been able to ID said selection to achieve same? Please advise. Cheers.... Rod D

Ryan
In the Image Manager Extended or File Browser, select the image and click on the Crop icon in the right-hand toolbar, to open the Image Editor.

Click the Rotate heading, and adjust the rotation as desired - https://www.joomlacontenteditor.net/support/documentation/file-browser/image-editor#rotate

Click the Save button.

Just because you're not paranoid doesn't mean everybody isn't out to get you.

Ryan thanks much for the quick lesson. One has now identified and rectified the error of one's ways! Basically I never had cause during the years of operation to select the Tool Tips for the Image icons in the Features and Layout Tab which would have answered the question. The same 2 icons in the image editor both have the common "insert image" tool tip which is obviously different to the former. I developed a habit of using the icon closest to the "link" icons and in my set up the image editor on the R side does not have the necessary CROP feature etc. if the incorrect "insert image" icon is chosen hence the misunderstabding. Pays to read the instructions if provided he said!! Thanks again and have a great year! Rod D
