Hi,
we are uploading images in the file browser and have default resize on.
When the images are bigger (i.e. 3MB or 5MB), they are uploaded (up to 100% in the progress bar), but then a JSON error is shown.
The first image size is uploaded, but not the second one.

We are in J4.2.6 and tried PHP 8.1 and 8.0 - both with the same problem.
Any ideas?
How can I debug?

In the browser developer tools (assuming Chrome, go to View -> Developer -> Developer Tools), click on the Network tab, then on the Fetch/XHR filter.

Run an upload again, and when the error is generated, click on the first or second url (whichever is causing the error), then on the Response tab to show the error (error reporting may need to be set to Maximum), eg:
