Since the last update I am unable to insert media with JCE pro. When klicking on the button "Media" a window opens with the message "403 Forbidden" and "nginx", nothing more. This problem exist on 2 different websites. The version of JCE is 2.9.33.
What could be the cause of this problem.

Regards,
Douwe Bangma

Ryan
Are you referring to the Media button below the editor window?

What happens when you open the Image Manager from the editor toolbar?

Just because you're not paranoid doesn't mean everybody isn't out to get you.

That's correct, I'm referring to the Media button below the editor window. I use it to insert pdf-files.
I have no problems with using the Image Manager from the tootlbar

Ryan
The Media button below the editor is a Joomla core "editor-xtd" plugin and is not part of the JCE Pro extension.

You can manage and insert pdf files using the File Manager or Link dialog in JCE Pro.

Thanks for your answer. I will look into that. But strangely I could insert pdf-files before the latest update of JCE pro. Maybe something changed in Joomla?

Ryan
I'm not seeing the same issue in my tests.

When klicking on the button "Media" a window opens with the message "403 Forbidden" and "nginx", nothing more.

It sounds like something on your server is causing the problem.

Now, after some days, suddenly the problem does not exist anymore. I didn't change anything, so I do not know the cause of this timely problem.
Thanks for your support.
