I am using JCE 2.9.33 and Mediabox 2.1.2 in JOOMLA 4.2.8. All plugins and the component are enabled. I want to popup an image but can't find the appropriate option.

MediaBox will enable a Popup tab to appear in the Image Manager Extended dialog. The Imag eManager Extended is included in JCE Pro.
If you have not yet installed JCE Pro, then download and install it - https://www.joomlacontenteditor.net/downloads/editor/pro/latest - and then add the Image Manager Extended button, and other Pro buttons you require, to the editor toolbar - https://www.joomlacontenteditor.net/support/faq/editor/pro-buttons-missing-after-upgrade

Thank you, that helped me out. After the upgrade to the pro version the popup tab and the other tab's were missing
