Hi,

I don't know why but when I try to access to :

components -> jce -> configuration
or
components -> jce -> profiles
or
components -> jce -> jce media box

I get this : https://www.screenpresso.com/fr/cloud/OFfuc/

I have reinstalled latest version, same problem.
I'm running on joomla 4.2.9

why?
thanks
L.

From the JCE Control Panel, click on the Options button in the top right corner, then on the Permissions tab.

Assuming you are Super User, please post a screenshot of the Permissions for that user group.

ok done

Ryan
The Restricted Access! message is not part of JCE, and as your Permissions settings are correct, and you are able to access the File Browser from the JCe Control Panel, I suspect this must be caused by soe other extension you have installed on the site.

Do you have any component or plugin installed that is designed to restrict access to parts of the site?

except admin tools normally no :-/
but admin tools has never blocked access to JCE.
I have tried on others websites and no problem.

Ryan
It sounds like this issue is with this specific website, and is most likely caused by an installed extension, or some server-side restriction, such as an htaccess rule.

I have removed the .htaccess file at /www root level and same problem.
also, there is no .htaccess file at /www/administrator level.
I have also disabled admin tools extension and same problem.

Ryan
As I stated above, JCE does not use the string "Restricted Access!" anywhere in it's code, so this must be cuased by some other process on the site, therefore it is not a JCE issue.

Uninstalling an re-installing JCE Pro (to clear any possible legacy code) does not solve the issue.

Unfortunately I am unable to suggest any other possible solution here. As you say that this issue is onyl on this one site and not others, confirms that the cause of the issue is specific to this site, and therefore must be caused by an installed extension.
