In an article on the Joomla 4 site, I create a mailto link with the JCE editor, it works perfectly. But if I also write an address in the CC field when creating the link, the CC field in Thunderbird cannot interpret this.
The problem is clearly visible on the attached file.

This is not an issue with the way the email address link is created by JCE, but the processing and display of the link in the front-end by the Joomla Email Cloaking Plugin. This is a core issue which has not yet been fixed - https://github.com/joomla/joomla-cms/issues/21910
The only solution is to either disable the Joomla Email Cloaking plugin, or remove the CC from the email address.
