Just upgraded to Joomla 4. I uninstalled JCE pro before upgrading. When reinstalling, I get the error message

0 - Call to a member function getContent() on null

When trying to edit pages both in the backend and frontend editing. The rest of my website seems to be working fine. Any ideas?

I have tried uninstalling the editor and setting the default editor to the built-in editor, and the same thing happens.

Please ensure that you are installing the latest available version of JCE Pro - https://www.joomlacontenteditor.net/downloads/editor/pro/latest

This could suggest that another extension you have installed is generating the error.

Thanks, good thought. No other incompatible extensions installed. I think it may be a php problem, it's beyond me!

The error is caused by Button - SIGE Parameters - SIGE Parameter Button

When disabled, the error is gone and the editor loads as expected.

Wow, didn't try that because they said it was compatible. Thank you +++
