Hi, I have a problem with inserting links.
I use JCE editor on a website, latest version, Joomla 4 latest version.
I write a series of words which I then have to link to an external link.
Then I select the sentence, click on the button to insert the link, insert the link with opening in new page, and then insert.
It happens that the phrase is repeated twice.
This happens on a Windows PC, I've tried to simulate it from my workstation with different browsers, but it doesn't happen to me, but I've seen what happens on the editing PC.
Is it a cross browsing problem?
What suggestions can I provide?

In the meantime, while waiting for a response, they are informing me that the same problem seems to appear on three different PCs.

Yes, as I wrote, latest version of JCE and latest version of Joomla. I've seen this problem before, but I've never given it weight and I don't understand what it could be related to. Whether it's a memory issue, a cross browsing issue or whatever

Do these words contain any formatting before you create the link?
When you open the link dialog, what is the value in the Text field?

In the Editor Global Configuration, what is the Container Element & Enter Key option set to?

Can you confirm that this only occurs when the selected text to create the link on includes a space at the end?

Great, I just did a test, trying to put a space at the end of a string of words, and I tried, in fact it doubled the words.
So the problem is here?

Yes, thank you. I am working on it now, but until a fix is released, perhaps you can instruct your clients to attempt to make the selection without the space?

I tried the beta version in a test area where the latest version of JCE demonstrated, with space, the same problem.
I installed the beta, and repeated the link insertion test, I confirm that now it no longer happens, even if I deliberately insert a space after the last word, select all the text including the space, insert the link, it is removed space and words are not repeated.
