Can you please, please work on a JCE version for Wordpress?
The WP editor and its plugins are really a burden to use - there is absolutely no more important enhancement for WP than launching JCE for it.

I really will spend another registration fee to make that possible. Perhaps there are more users that can confirm that?

JCE 3 is being built to be essentially cross-platform, and a proof-of-concept version has been tested on Wordpress.

It is a long way from release, but it is plausible, and I do hope to release a version for Wordpress in future.

It is in development, but I don't have any ETA for a release.

Not a fan of Gutenberg?

I already know JCE from Joomla.
Can't be beaten, not even by Gutenberg :)

More and more I am forced to build sites in WP by clients. I very much dislike it.
To be able to use JCE would make a world of difference!

I am now building WP sites because clients want them, because all the kids are being taught WP in school. But the stock editor just sucks. It's the original Tiny MCE. I've had a look at Gutenberg and the changes to me appear to be mainly cosmetic. So, I second all the comments here. Why oh why have WP users suffered with this crappy, crappy editor for so many years?
