Hello,
since the last 2.6 update (and 2.6.1 too) the text in the editor view is very very small (like xx-small)
My Font in my template is 13px sized.
Everything is good on the web site and on the preview mode but not on editing mode ... texte is very very smal as you can see in attachement file
On 2.5 there was no problem
Please help

If you can post a link to your site (just the front-end) I can get an indication of how your template is applying the font-size value, whether an editor.css file exists, and how it applies the font-size.

@piresjerome - In the Editor Global Configuration, the Editor Styles option was set to Default. Ideally it should be Template CSS so the content is styled using your template's stylesheet.
I have done this on your site, and the text is displaying at 14px;

In the default textarea-editor (since 2.6.0 Uikit) font-size is both 12px only. This is much to small for fullHD screen. Only solution to increase font-size I found is hacking the core code (/components/com_jce/editor/libraries/css/editor.min.css
), what of course is not a nice solution.
Same problem with the Code-mirror tab. Also 12px. Much to small.
Should be nice if there was a property in the configuration to overrule these 12px values.

Create an editor.css file in media/jce/css/ and add:
.wf-editor {
font-size: 14px;
}

A parameter will be added for Codemirror in the next update.

Today I updated on my test site to the new released JCE Pro version 2.6.2 and found some issues with the font-sizes of the code-editors.
1.) For increasing the text-size of the wf-editor I created in version 2.6.1 an 'editor.css' in /media/jce/css as you suggested.
Content:
2.) In version 2.6.2 there are new pluginparameters for the Codemirror editor. Above you said: "A parameter will be added for Codemirror in the next update. " (parameter for font-size). And yes there are new parameters for the Codemirror editor, including a param for the font-size.
Alas I can enter here what I want for this param, but it is complete ignored. Font-size stays 12px in the editor. Too small for HD screen.

Unfortunately this 'css' directory including the 'editor.css' was deleted when updating to version 2.6.2, so I had to recreate both the 'css' directory and the 'editor.css'.2.) Hi Ryan,
I just installed the newest version. My text is still small though. Is there a way to tell JCE to display the text larger?
Thanks!

@kerrykriger - You might need to create a custom editor stylesheet, please send me a login - https://www.joomlacontenteditor.net/contact/site-login

I have this exact problem after upgrading to 2.6.33, or more annoyingly I personally don't have the issue but other users are seeing it.
I don't want to set the editor to Template CSS if I don't have to because I don't like the styling (for editing, at least) when I switch to this.
I have tried creating the custom css file as documented above, however it only seems to change the text size in 'Toggle Editor' view. In Editor view it's the same (12px Verdana at a guess).
Can I just have my Editor view back as it was, the same for all users?

What did you include in your custom css file?
What did you name the file?

You should use the template stylesheet, but override the styles you don't want. Please see - https://www.joomlacontenteditor.net/support/tutorials/editor/create-a-custom-editor-stylesheet
Alternatively, in the Editor Global Configuration, set Template Styles to Default to use a generic content styling.

I already do that. I have done this for many years
My point is this: I have not changed these settings since I started using JCE, so why is the Editor display changing now, after the 2.6.33 upgrade? Why am I not seeing the issue when two of my users are seeing smaller text in their editor display? Why do I need to start messing around with custom stylesheets when everything has been perfectly fine up to 2.6.33?

I can't answer that. If the settings are the same for all of you, then the issue must be within their local environment, perhaps a browser setting.
Can you get a screenshot of the editor from them for comparison?

I think I have found the cause of the issue. Please try JCE Pro 2.6.34 Beta 5 - https://www.joomlacontenteditor.net/downloads/editor/pro/development/item/jce-pro-dev

OK, so that seems to have fixed it... to a degree. Now it appears that the editor applies the template CSS regardless of whether I set Editor Styles to 'default' or if I check 'Reset Editor Styling'.
At least my users aren't nagging me anymore though, so there's that. Thanks.

The editor is using its own default set of styles for the content, not styles from the template stylesheet.
Reset Editor Styling resets the content background colour to white and the text colour to black. These are the same as the default styles, so it has no effect on them.

But whether I choose 'Default' or 'Template CSS' from the options, the editor style looks exactly the same.

Again, Reset Editor Styling makes no difference. With 'Yes' checked I get a white background with black text, with 'No' checked I still get a white background with black text (site has a black background and white text).

The Template CSS option will attempt to load the template's stylesheet, if it uses the standard naming convention, ie: the main css file is called template.css, or there is an editor.css file.
As your template does not use the standard naming convention - no RocketTheme templates do - the editor cannot automatically load the template stylesheet, and therefore the default styles are used.
You can use the Custom CSS Files option to specify stylesheet or list of stylesheets for the editor to load. You have stated previously though that you do not want to use the template stylesheets.

Yes, exactly as I explained in my previous post.
