Hi, we currently have 2 questions about the JCE component for Joomla, let's explain.
1. We have installed the PRO version of the component and then set up the Image Manager Extended. Our must to have is that all images that we upload will be cropped and resized to the format and size: 1024x640. This work really well, it mantains the original and put the cropped and resized inside the folder "resized". The problem is that, while I choose the Intro and extended image inside the article, the crop is not possible (see screenshot). Is there any way to enable the crop also here in the File Browser instead of the Image Manager Extended? Also paying for it but we really need it.
2. I think that point 2 is just a little bug or maybe a misconfiguration. We would like that as default, while opening the file browser, files and images are show as preview (miniature) and not as list. I found an option inside the JCE config but it seems that doesn't work. Any help?
Thanks and best regards

Please try JCE Pro 2.6.20 RC4 - https://www.joomlacontenteditor.net/downloads/editor/item/jce-pro-dev

Thumbnailing is currently only available in the Image Manager Extended dialog. Images can still be proportionally resized without cropping using the Resize option in the upload dialog.
Just because you're not paranoid doesn't mean everybody isn't out to get you.
Hi Ryan, thanks for the support. The point n. 2 is currently solved using the JCE 2.6.20 RC4.
For the problem 1, we absolutely need to add the crop function inside the JCE File Browser.
Please make us an offer for it, we have no problems to pay for it but we really need. Thanks.
Best regards

The Thumbnail options will now included in the Upload dialog in the File Browser, File Manager and Image Manager Extended in JCE Pro 2.6.20.
