Hello,
I have created a snippet for a client so she can easily add responsive videos.
The snippet loads a bootstrap <div> with an <iframe> so she can then click on the video >> the insert/edit media button and just change the URL.
This works perfectly with YouTube videos, but not with ones on Google Drive.
I tried to use the Media Type = html5, but it won't save.
If I try another Media Type, the <iframe> is removed.
Please see this short video https://screencast-o-matic.com/watch/cbX1jr2QfT (start at 22 seconds)
Luckily, she should only be using YouTube vids, but I thought I'd better let you know about it.
Thanks

Thanks, good luck.
I'd be happy to test it if you'd like someone to double check it

Great work, thanks, it works perfectly with media on your own server.
It does still lose the info - in the popup - not the code, if you put in another domain, but then cross domain URLs don't work on Chrome anyway.

Please post a link to an example.
Some cross domain URLs will work, for example, dedicated embed urls provided by Youtube etc.

No problem, see this short video https://screencast-o-matic.com/watch/cbXIo02DKs
When you change the file URL to the Google Drive one, you will need to select the Media Type (eg: HTML5 Video), as this can't be determined from the URL (as it does not have a file extension, eg: .mp4)
If you want to open the file in an iframe, it would be better to update using the IFrames dialog instead of Media Manager.
