Hello
My client is intermittently getting this problem when she tries to add images.
I have not been able to replicate it on my computer (at the same time as it's happening on hers or at all in the last few weeks of development), but I have experienced it on hers when logged in using Teamviewer.
However, she is added much more content than me, so it's not surprising she experiences it more often.
99% of the time this error does not show. Closing the article and reopening it cleared the error in the past.
I have asked her to check her version of Chrome and I'll let you know when she gets back in touch.
Thank you
S

This error is generated when you attempt to add an image to the upload queue that is not in the Permitted File Extensions list in Editor Profiles -> Editor Parameters -> Filesystem, or Editor Parameters -> Plugin Parameters -> Image Manager, eg:
Have you made any changes to this list?

Thanks, I've got that and they are set to image=svg, jpeg, jpg, png, gif.
But if you log out and login again, without changing any settings, it will work.
If she is having issues on her machine, I can still do it on my machine WITH THE SAME SETTINGS.
The settings have not been changed and 99% of the time uploading an image will work.
There is only one published profile, so I know we are both using the same one.
For info she is using 61.0.3163.100 (official build) (64-bit) Chrome.
Cheers

i have the same prob: I want to upload an pdf file with the jce file manager, and i get the error above!
In the settings from the file manager pdf is enabled!
An other user has the same prob.
In Joomla / Media Manager the upload is working!
