Both Content - Page Break and Button - Page Break plugins are enabled, but when I add a page break with Presentation Style set to Sliders in Content - Page Break plugin, all I get is a horizontal line on the page such that when I hover on that line I see the title for the page break.
Is it possible that I need to update my JQuery, or this a K2 issue.

The Page Break button below the editor, and the one in the editor toolbar, insert a placeholder into the editor content at the point at which you want the page break to appear in the rendered article.
The responsibility for rendering this page break lies with the pagebreak plugin, which must be loaded by the extension when rendering the content.
Check the K2 configuration for an option to enable / disable this. You may need to post in the K2 forum for more information - https://www.joomlaworks.net/forum/k2

Just because you're not paranoid doesn't mean everybody isn't out to get you.
I got a response from K2 and they simply said that they don't support the Joomla "Content Page Break" plugin without any hint that they might support it in a future release. They suggested that I go to http://extensions.joomla.org/extension/tabs-and-sliders/ and get a slider and tabs plugin. I have RegularLabs sliders and tabs plugins already installed and they work quite well. It is just that "Content Page Break" along with the "Button Page Break" plugins make adding sliders sooo much easier for our writers who do not understand tech stuff at all; even adding a simple tag to an article gives them anxiety attacks.
