Hello, I have some not very tech-savvy clients, who are trying to add an image to a particular layout on their homepage.
The images should be 390 px wide and a minimum of 240 px tall so they fit into the boxes neatly.
However, they are trying to add this image, which is obviously not tall enough.
Usually in this case, I would resize the image to the correct width then use the crop tool to make the image taller, however I can't find a way of making an image bigger using JCE. Is there a way?
If not then these clients would need to use two different tools to resize their images, which would confuse them, or I can do odd shaped ones for them. Neither option is ideal.
Do you have a solution?
Thanks very much
Sarah

Resizing an image bigger than it's original size would result in the image becoming pixelated.
This image could be resized by enlarging the image canvas, and adding a white background. The original image would not be resized, just the canvas enlarged (see attached)
Unfortunately this cannot (yet) be done in the JCE Image Editor.
Just because you're not paranoid doesn't mean everybody isn't out to get you.

Yes, that's exactly what I mean
It would be very useful to have this in JCE.
Thanks for the reply
