I am unable to style unordered lists in JCE. I see where for a list you have the options of default, circle, disk and square. Unfortunately regardless of which style I choose, only the default is displayed.
I'm sure it is something the template is preventing (Artisteer created template) but is there someway that I can force this option to be available? Perhaps Custom css?

This is a little tricky because of the way the list icons are styled by the template, but we can be a little sneaky and override it when a list style is applied.
Add the following to your template stylesheet:
Add the following to your template stylesheet:
ul[style*="list-style-type"] {
margin: 1em 0 1em 1em;
}
ul[style*="list-style-type"] li {
overflow: initial;
padding-left: initial;
}
ul[style*="list-style-type"] li::before {
content: "";
margin: initial;
}
Just because you're not paranoid doesn't mean everybody isn't out to get you.

Yes, your template is adding styling to list items.
Do you want to remove all template list styling, or only when you have applied a list style type?

Just when I have applied a style from the list.
Thinking the "default" should be the style from the template, but circle, disk and/or square should be generic images.
Hopefully I'm explaining this correctly.
I want the site owners to be able to choose from the music note, disk, circle or square each time they create a list.
