On the latest version of the plugin, I've just come up against a new problem. I put this code into the HTML (clicking the "off" button for JCE to do so):
It's then fine when I go back into JCE. However, if I click the off button again - and JCE back on again, the code is edited to:
I.e. "display: block" becomes "display: inline-block"
What can I do to stop that happening? This is happening in the standard Joomla editor.
<p><span style="margin: 5px auto; display: block; width: 100%; border-bottom: 1px solid rgb(217, 217, 217); max-width: 800px;" class="wf_caption"><img src="/x.jpg" alt="rolls" style="display: block; width: 100%;" width="800" /><em><span style="max-width: 790px; padding: 5px; display: block;">Caption goes here</span></em></span></p>

The code you are adding is for a JCE Caption around an image, which by default is displayed as an inline-block object (a bug in JCE Pro 2.6.34 made this a block display instead).
The Caption is now displayed as a block object only when it is centred.

Hi - I've made changes to get it to work - and have settled with some changes to centre the image - but not the caption. (this forum won't let me post the code for some reason)
That works fine - but if I copy and paste that text in the code elsewhere - and then change the image (easiest way to put multiple captioned images in an article in the style I want) - this code is posted at the bottom of the HTML four times.
Any idea why that would be?

<div id="mceResizeHandlesw" data-mce-bogus="all" class="mce-resizehandle mce-resizehandle-sw" unselectable="true" style="cursor: sw-resize; margin: 0px; padding: 0px; user-select: none; left: 321px; top: 3471.5px;"></div>

Hi - I've one more question - it's related to the title of the thread, so seems best to put it here.
Even though I've set the configuration of JCE to not validate HTML, I'm still getting instances where HTML is stripped out. The main bugbear is that HTML comments are stripped out - which are very useful when dealing with long complex articles. Is there a specific way to stop these from being deleted?

Please post an example of the content that is being stripped.
